Woodlands Middle High School in Greenburgh NY participated in the Single-Use Plastic Art Project in June 2021. Time was short at the end of the school year, but we got an enthusiastic start. Work will pick up again in the fall.

Students collected soft single-use plastic from various packaging and recreated two school mascot logos in a mosaic style. These were installed in the glass partition in the main hallway. Work also began on the school slogan and motto, which will be finished in the fall and installed along side the mascots.

Inspirational, graffiti inspired quotes are also planned for the windows of the inner labyrinth courtyard. To be continued!
